Making business records work together.

The challenge

Jermaine created Kiipad to address the practical burden of invoice handling and financial-record organization within Crixus.

The contribution

• Connected email invoices, document storage, OCR, structured extraction, and QuickBooks Online records.
• Built configurable access to self-hosted or external AI inference behind an internal API.
• Implemented authentication callbacks, token refresh, and processing of exported bank data through loosely coupled services.

The outcome

The workflow was used to prepare and synchronize a year of company records for review and filing. Reconciliation and filing decisions remained with Jermaine.

Project context

Kiipad is a working prototype with a basic, incomplete UI and requires founder knowledge to operate. It does not provide accounting judgment or automatically file taxes.
